The Department of Hydrology and Meteorology has reported that no significant weather system is currently affecting the country.
According to the department, this afternoon the hilly regions of Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki, and Karnali provinces will witness partly cloudy conditions, while the rest of the areas will experience mostly clear weather. Light rain or snowfall is possible at a few places in the Himalayan region of Koshi Province.
In Kathmandu Valley, the maximum temperature today is expected to range between 20 to 22 degrees Celsius. At 5:30 AM, the minimum temperature was recorded at 9.4 degrees Celsius. The department noted that cold conditions in the valley are gradually increasing.
