At present, the monsoon’s low-pressure line is situated around its average position. According to the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology, Weather Forecasting Division, the weather across the country will generally remain cloudy on Sunday afternoon. There is a possibility of moderate rainfall at some places in the hilly regions and a few places in the Terai. Heavy rainfall is also possible at one or two places in the hilly areas of Koshi Province as well as Bagmati and Gandaki Provinces.
Similarly, tonight the weather across the country will remain generally cloudy. Moderate rainfall is expected at some places in Koshi, Madhesh, Bagmati, Gandaki, and Lumbini Provinces, and at a few places in the remaining provinces. Heavy rainfall is also possible at one or two places in the hilly areas of Koshi, Madhesh, Lumbini, and Gandaki Provinces.
