The Department of Hydrology and Meteorology has reported that the influence of the monsoon is currently weak, though local winds remain partially active.

Skies across the country will remain generally cloudy.- Moderate rain is likely in some areas of Koshi, Madhes, Bagmati, and Gandaki Provinces, as well as a few places in Lumbini Province, other hilly regions, and isolated parts of the Tarai.
- Heavy rain is possible at one or two locations in the hilly areas of Koshi, Bagmati, and Gandaki Provinces.
- Tonight:
The hilly regions will experience generally cloudy conditions, while the rest of the country will see partly cloudy skies.- Moderate rain is expected in some hilly areas of Gandaki, Lumbini, and Karnali Provinces, and in isolated parts of the Tarai.
The department has advised residents, especially in the hilly regions of Koshi, Bagmati, and Gandaki, to exercise caution due to the possibility of heavy rainfall.
