The Meteorological Forecasting Division has reported that the current monsoon trough is situated around the average position. Its influence has caused generally cloudy conditions across the country. Light to moderate rainfall is occurring in a few places in the hilly regions and one to two places in the Terai.
This afternoon, the weather is expected to remain generally cloudy throughout the country. Some places in the hilly regions of Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki, and Lumbini Provinces, as well as a few other areas, may experience moderate rainfall. One to two places in the hilly and Terai regions of Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki, and Lumbini Provinces may see heavy rainfall.
Tonight, generally cloudy conditions are expected in the hilly regions of Koshi, Madhesh, Bagmati, and Gandaki Provinces, while the remaining Terai areas will be partly cloudy. A few places in Koshi, Madhesh, Bagmati, and Gandaki Provinces, and one to two other locations, may experience moderate rainfall.
The Meteorological Division has requested necessary precautions as heavy rainfall is possible in one to two places in the hilly and Terai regions of Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki, and Lumbini Provinces.
