Currently, the monsoon winds are weak across the country, with partial influence from local winds, according to the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology, Forecasting Division.
- Daytime Forecast:
- Hilly regions will generally experience cloudy skies, while other areas will see partly cloudy conditions.
- Moderate rainfall is expected at some locations in the hilly areas of Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki, and Lumbini Provinces, as well as at one or two places in the hills and Terai of other provinces.
- Heavy rainfall is possible at one or two locations in the hilly areas of Koshi and Bagmati Provinces.
- Nighttime Forecast:
- Hilly areas, including Koshi and Madhes Provinces, will remain mostly cloudy, with partly cloudy skies elsewhere.
- Moderate rainfall is expected at some locations in Koshi, Madhes, Bagmati, and Gandaki Provinces, and at one or two places in other parts of the country.
