A woman’s body was discovered inside a suspicious suitcase in Rautahat on Saturday night.
According to police, the suitcase was found abandoned near Mudwalba bend along the Gaur–Sirsia road section. Locals noticed the suitcase, tied with ropes, and immediately informed the police.
A team from the District Police Office, Rautahat, reached the spot and, upon opening the suitcase, confirmed that it contained a woman’s body. The identity of the deceased has not yet been established.
The body has been taken to the Provincial Hospital in Gaur for post-mortem. Police said further investigation into the incident is underway.
