Extending New Year 2083 greetings, Shah said it is encouraging to see increasing involvement of the younger generation in politics and state governance.
He expressed confidence that the arrival of educated, informed, and technologically skilled young individuals would help make the nation more productive. However, he complained that the country has gradually turned into a “laboratory” due to the constant search for alternatives.
In a video message, he stated: “We have witnessed many changes in the political system and governance structure, but they have remained merely superficial changes. We have struggled a lot in political turbulence, yet we have lagged far behind in national prosperity. We have always been engaged in experiments, practices, and the search for alternatives. As a result, our country has become nothing more than a laboratory. Stability, continuity, and determination seem to have disappeared somewhere. The past has taught us that merely changing systems, procedures, and individuals does not automatically improve the overall situation.”
