Bishnu Paudel Leads in Preliminary Vote Count for UML Vice-Chairperson
In the election held to select the new leadership of the Communist Party of Nepal (Unified Marxist–Leninist), Bishnu Paudel has secured the highest number of votes in the preliminary count for the vice-chairperson position.
According to initial results, Paudel has received 173 votes. He is followed closely by Prithvi Subba Gurung with 171 votes. Ram Bahadur Thapa has obtained 153 votes, Gokarna Bista 132 votes, and Raghuji Pant 123 votes.
Similarly, Binda Pandey has received 98 votes, Guru Baral 109 votes, Tank Karki 43 votes, Pashuram Meghi Gurung 47 votes, Arun Nepal 38 votes, and Bhim Acharya 27 votes.
The vote count is ongoing, and the final results are yet to be officially announced.
