The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) index increased by 6.03 points on the last trading day of the week, settling at 2,654.93 points.
During the day, shares of 335 companies were traded, with 10,053,145 units changing hands. The total turnover reached Rs 4.17 billion. Share prices of 137 companies increased, while 118 declined and 7 remained unchanged.
In terms of turnover, API Power Company recorded the highest transaction value of over Rs 326.8 million. It was followed by Ankhu Khola Hydropower Company with Rs 211.3 million and SY Panel Nepal with Rs 155.1 million worth of shares traded.
Among the gainers, investors of Salapa Bikas Bank earned the highest return of 9.99 percent, while Reliance Spinning Mills investors gained 9.26 percent.
On the losing side, unit holders of Nabil Debenture 2082 suffered the highest loss of 3.60 percent.
