On the final trading day of the year, Monday, the price of gold in the Nepali market has decreased by Rs 400.
According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association, the price of hallmark gold has been fixed at Rs 296,700 per tola. On Sunday, gold was traded at Rs 297,100 per tola.
Similarly, silver prices have also declined. The federation stated that silver has dropped by Rs 75 per tola, reaching Rs 4,900. On Sunday, silver was traded at Rs 4,975 per tola.
The decline in both gold and silver prices marks a downward trend in the precious metals market at the end of the trading year.
