Minister for Communications and Information Technology Jagdish Kharel held a meeting with Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) Chair Rajendra Lingden on Wednesday morning.
The meeting took place at Lingden’s residence in Lubhu Lamatar, Lalitpur, where the two leaders discussed the upcoming House of Representatives election and the current political situation.
After the meeting, Minister Kharel said that the government is giving high priority to completing all necessary tasks to ensure the successful conduct of the election.
On the occasion, RPP Chair Lingden stated that his party is fully committed to participating in the election.
Minister Kharel, who is also the government spokesperson, has earlier held similar meetings with leaders of major political parties by visiting their residences to help create a conducive environment for the election.
