According to the Meteorological Forecasting Division, there is currently no significant weather system affecting the country, while fog and mist have formed in some areas of the Terai. The weather in the hilly and mountainous regions is generally clear.
This afternoon, fog is likely to persist in many parts of the Terai. The hilly and mountainous areas of Koshi Province and the mountainous region of Gandaki Province are expected to remain partly cloudy, while the rest of the country will experience mostly clear weather.
Similarly, fog is expected in some parts of the Terai tonight. The high hilly and mountainous regions of Gandaki, Karnali, and Sudurpaschim Provinces will see partly cloudy conditions, whereas other areas will remain mostly clear, according to the forecast.
