A group of Gen-Z activists trying to enter Singha Durbar, the administrative hub of Nepal, was stopped by police on Tuesday. Members of the group led by Miraj Dhungana attempted to move past the restricted area, prompting police to intervene and disperse them.
According to police, the group was attempting to enter a prohibited zone, after which they were moved away up to the Bhatbhateni area of Anamnagar.
On Monday as well, Gen-Z leaders including Miraj Dhungana and Ravikiran Hamal had reached Singha Durbar to submit a memorandum to Prime Minister Sushila Karki.
However, after being denied entry into the complex, they pasted the memorandum at the South Gate and returned.
