A meeting of the National Assembly under the Federal Parliament is scheduled for today at 1:15 pm at Singha Durbar. The agenda includes the presentation of two important committee reports.
At today’s meeting, Chairperson of the Legislative Management Committee, Tulsakumari Dahal, will present the committee’s report on the Film Bill, 2081 to the House. The bill proposes significant revisions, including replacing the 55-year-old existing law and establishing a “Certification Committee” instead of the current “Censor Board.”
Similarly, Chairperson of the Committee on Strengthening Federalism and National Concerns, Sonam Geljen Sherpa, will table the committee’s annual report for the fiscal year 2081/82. The report covers the committee’s work related to the implementation of federalism and various issues of national concern.
