Nepal is currently experiencing a partial influence of westerly winds, according to the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology. At present, fog has formed in some places across the Terai region, while partly cloudy conditions prevail in the high hilly and mountainous areas of Koshi, Madhes, Bagmati, Gandaki, Lumbini, Karnali, and Sudurpaschim provinces.
The department stated that during the daytime today, fog and mist will continue in parts of the Terai. The hilly and mountainous regions of Koshi, Bagmati, and Gandaki provinces are expected to remain partly cloudy, while the weather in other areas will be mostly clear. There is a possibility of light rainfall and snowfall at one or two locations in the high hilly and mountainous areas of Koshi Province.
Similarly, tonight some areas of the Terai are likely to see cloudy conditions. The high hilly and mountainous regions of Gandaki, Karnali, and Sudurpaschim provinces will remain partly cloudy, while the rest of the country is expected to have mainly clear weather.
