Prime Minister Sushila Karki has attended a tea reception organized by the Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) at Bhrikutimandap, Kathmandu.
The program was held as part of various events organized by the party to mark Prithvi Jayanti. Prior to the tea reception, RPP leaders and cadres offered garlands at the statue of Prithvi Narayan Shah.
Prime Minister Karki arrived at the venue a short while before the tea reception began. Prithvi Jayanti is observed every year on Poush 27 to honor Prithvi Narayan Shah, the architect of modern Nepal’s unification.
RPP Chairperson Rajendra Lingden, former chairperson Kamal Thapa, along with many party leaders, cadres, and royalist supporters were present at the event. RPP leaders, including Chairperson Lingden, also participated in a blood donation program held on the occasion.
