A vehicle carrying Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) leader Prakashchandra Pariyar was vandalized in Gorkha.
The incident occurred in Bhimsen Rural Municipality-3, Gorkha, where the vehicle, carrying Pariyar and his team, was damaged. The car’s rear window was broken. The vehicle had been parked at the time.
It is not yet clear who was responsible for the vandalism. According to DSP Rajkumar Shrestha of the Gorkha District Police Office, there was no targeted attack on the passengers in the vehicle. The incident coincided with Maghe Sankranti events in Gorkha, which included ox races and football programs.
Police have launched an investigation into the incident.
