Nepal Rastra Bank has fixed the foreign exchange rates for today.
According to the central bank, the buying rate of one US dollar has been set at Rs 145.27 and the selling rate at Rs 145.87.
Similarly, the buying and selling rates for other major currencies are as follows:
- Euro: Buying Rs 171.62, Selling Rs 172.33
- UK Pound Sterling: Buying Rs 195.90, Selling Rs 196.71
- Swiss Franc: Buying Rs 188.94, Selling Rs 189.72
Among other currencies:
- Australian Dollar: Buying Rs 103.37, Selling Rs 103.80
- Canadian Dollar: Buying Rs 106.47, Selling Rs 106.91
- Singapore Dollar: Buying Rs 114.84, Selling Rs 115.31
For Asian and Middle Eastern currencies:
- Japanese Yen (per 10): Buying Rs 9.31, Selling Rs 9.35
- Chinese Yuan: Buying Rs 21.18, Selling Rs 21.27
- Saudi Arabian Riyal: Buying Rs 38.73, Selling Rs 38.89
- Qatari Riyal: Buying Rs 39.85, Selling Rs 40.02
As per the central bank, the rates are:
- Thai Baht: Buying Rs 4.68, Selling Rs 4.70
- UAE Dirham: Buying Rs 39.55, Selling Rs 39.71
- Malaysian Ringgit: Buying Rs 37.33, Selling Rs 37.49
- South Korean Won (per 100): Buying Rs 10.09, Selling Rs 10.13
- Swedish Krona: Buying Rs 16.09, Selling Rs 16.15
- Danish Krone: Buying Rs 22.97, Selling Rs 23.06
Additionally, the buying rate of the Hong Kong Dollar is Rs 18.57 and the selling rate Rs 18.65. The Kuwaiti Dinar has been fixed at Rs 475.52 (buying) and Rs 477.48 (selling), the Bahraini Dinar at Rs 385.29 (buying) and Rs 386.88 (selling), and the Omani Riyal at Rs 377.82 (buying) and Rs 379.38 (selling).
The buying rate for 100 Indian Rupees has been set at Rs 160 and the selling rate at Rs 160.15.
Nepal Rastra Bank has stated that these exchange rates may be revised at any time as necessary. Commercial banks may set slightly different rates, and the updated rates are available on the central bank’s official website.
