A public bus caught fire while it was moving in Pokhara, causing panic among passengers. The incident occurred along the Siddhartha Highway in Pokhara Metropolitan City–22.
The bus, bearing registration number Ga.1 Kha 9562, suddenly caught fire during its journey. According to Kaski Police spokesperson, Deputy Superintendent of Police Hari Bahadur Basnet, all passengers on board were safely rescued.
Preliminary investigations suggest that the fire was likely caused by a wiring short circuit while the bus was in motion.
Although there were no human casualties or injuries reported, the bus was completely destroyed in the fire.
