Due to the partial influence of westerly winds, different parts of the country are experiencing partly to generally cloudy conditions, according to the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology.
At present, some places in the Terai are covered by haze. There is partial cloud cover in the high hilly and mountainous areas of Gandaki Province, Karnali Province, and Sudurpashchim Province, while the weather in the remaining areas is mainly clear.
According to the department, fog and mist are likely in some Terai areas this afternoon. The hilly and mountainous regions of Gandaki, Karnali, and Sudurpashchim Provinces will see generally cloudy conditions. The Terai regions of Lumbini Province and Sudurpashchim, along with other hilly and mountainous areas, will experience partial cloud cover. The weather will remain mainly clear in the rest of the country.
There is a chance of light rain or snowfall at one or two places in the high hilly and mountainous regions of Gandaki, Karnali, and Sudurpashchim Provinces.
Similarly, some Terai areas are expected to have haze tonight. Gandaki, Lumbini, Karnali, and Sudurpashchim Provinces will see generally cloudy conditions, while the remaining high hilly and mountainous regions will be partly cloudy. The weather in other areas will remain mainly clear. A few places in the Himalayan regions of Gandaki, Karnali, and Sudurpashchim Provinces may receive light rain or snowfall, and one or two hilly areas may get light rain.
