Nepal won the toss and opted to bat first against Italy in the ongoing inaugural ICC Women’s T20 Challenge Trophy being held in Rwanda.
The match is taking place at the Rwanda Cricket Stadium, where Nepal’s women’s national team is currently at the crease. This is the first-ever meeting between the women’s teams of Nepal and Italy.
This is the second match of the tournament for both sides. Nepal suffered a 44-run defeat against the United States women’s national cricket team in their opening match on Saturday.
Meanwhile, Italy women’s national cricket team are aiming for their second consecutive win in the competition, having defeated the host nation Rwanda women’s national cricket team in their first match.
