The Nepal Layers Association has raised the price of eggs effective from today.
The price has been fixed at NPR 425 per crate for large eggs and NPR 375 per crate for medium eggs. The association stated that the price was increased due to rising production costs. The production cost per egg currently stands at NPR 19.12.
