The Nepali Congress is set to make its election manifesto public today. The manifesto will be unveiled during an election assembly to be held in Janakpurdham, the capital of Madhesh Province.
Party leaders, including president Gagan Kumar Thapa and vice president Bishwaprakash Sharma, along with other senior central leaders, are scheduled to address the gathering.
The party has described the event in the historic and cultural city of Janakpurdham as not just a political program, but a historic occasion to deliver a message of Madhesh pride, inclusive democracy, and national unity.
The Nepali Congress expects the participation of more than 100,000 voters from all constituencies of Madhesh Province at the event.
Details about the manifesto released from Janakpur will also be shared at a press conference in Kathmandu.
According to the party, spokesperson Devaraj Chalise will brief the media about the manifesto at 4 PM today at the party’s central office in Sanepa.
