A total of 6,622 students who studied at Pokhara University are graduating today.
The 21st Convocation Ceremony is being held at Khudi Dhungepatan, Ward No. 30 of Pokhara Metropolitan City. According to the university’s Information Officer, Lok Prasad Dhakal, degrees will be awarded to students who have completed higher education in various levels and faculties.
Among the graduates, 3,625 students are from the Faculty of Management, 2,506 from the Faculty of Science and Technology, 365 from Health Sciences, and 126 from the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences.
On the occasion, the Chancellor’s Medal will be awarded to the student securing the highest marks at the postgraduate level, while the Vice-Chancellor’s Medal will be presented to the top student at the undergraduate level. The student achieving the highest marks in the Bachelor of Computer Application (BCA) program will receive the Oxford Medal.
Additionally, 664 students demonstrating outstanding academic excellence will be honored with the “Dean’s List” recognition this year.
