The Department of Hydrology and Meteorology has reported that a western low-pressure system is currently affecting the weather in Nepal.
At present, there is partly cloudy weather over the Terai regions of Koshi and Bagmati Provinces, as well as Madhesh Province and other hilly areas of the country. Light fog has been observed in a few places across the Terai region.
According to the Department, fog and mist are likely to persist in some parts of the Terai during the morning hours today. Generally cloudy conditions are expected in the mountainous regions of Koshi, Bagmati, and Gandaki Provinces, while the remaining hilly and mountainous areas will experience partly cloudy skies. The rest of the country is expected to have mainly fair weather.
There is a possibility of light rainfall or snowfall at one or two places in the high hilly and mountainous regions of Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki, and Karnali Provinces.
Tonight, light fog is likely to occur in a few places in the Terai region. Partly cloudy conditions are expected in the mountainous areas of Koshi, Bagmati, and Gandaki Provinces, while the rest of the country will experience mainly clear weather.
There is also a chance of light rainfall or snowfall at one or two places in the mountainous regions of Koshi and Gandaki Provinces tonight.
