Nepal Rastra Bank has fixed the foreign exchange rates for today, with the value of most foreign currencies declining.
As per the determined rates, the buying rate of one US dollar has been set at NPR 150.07 and the selling rate at NPR 150.67. Likewise, one Euro is being bought at NPR 173.24 and sold at NPR 173.93. The buying rate of one UK Pound Sterling stands at NPR 200.30 and the selling rate at NPR 201.10, while one Swiss Franc is being bought at NPR 189.30 and sold at NPR 190.06.
Similarly, the buying rate of one Australian dollar is NPR 103.93 and the selling rate NPR 104.35. One Canadian dollar is being bought at NPR 108.40 and sold at NPR 108.83, while one Singapore dollar has a buying rate of NPR 116.86 and a selling rate of NPR 117.33.
For Asian currencies, the buying rate of 10 Japanese Yen is NPR 9.41 and the selling rate NPR 9.44. One Chinese Yuan is being bought at NPR 21.72 and sold at NPR 21.81. The buying rate of one Saudi Arabian Riyal is NPR 40.00 and the selling rate NPR 40.16, while one Qatari Riyal is being bought at NPR 41.06 and sold at NPR 41.22.
According to the central bank, one Thai Baht is being bought at NPR 4.57 and sold at NPR 4.59. The buying rate of one UAE Dirham is NPR 40.86 and the selling rate NPR 41.03. One Malaysian Ringgit is being bought at NPR 37.57 and sold at NPR 37.72. The buying rate of 100 South Korean Won is NPR 9.96 and the selling rate NPR 10.00. Likewise, one Swedish Kroner is being bought at NPR 15.99 and sold at NPR 16.06, and one Danish Kroner at NPR 23.19 (buying) and NPR 23.28 (selling).
The bank has set the buying rate of one Hong Kong dollar at NPR 19.18 and the selling rate at NPR 19.26. One Kuwaiti Dinar is being bought at NPR 489.39 and sold at NPR 491.34. One Bahraini Dinar has a buying rate of NPR 397.48 and a selling rate of NPR 399.07, while one Omani Riyal is being bought at NPR 389.84 and sold at NPR 391.40.
Similarly, the buying rate of INR 100 has been set at NPR 160.00 and the selling rate at NPR 160.15.
Nepal Rastra Bank has stated that these exchange rates may be revised at any time if necessary. The exchange rates set by commercial banks may differ, and updated rates are available on the central bank’s website.
