The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) index dropped by 71.05 points on Sunday, the first trading day of the week, closing at 2879.11.
All 13 sub-indices recorded declines during the session. Ridi Power Company posted the highest turnover of the day, with transactions exceeding NPR 711.173 million.
Investors in Reliance Spinning Mills, Super Khudi Hydropower, Ridge Line Energy, Suryakund Hydro Electric, Bhujung Hydropower, and Hotel Forest Inn recorded the highest gains, hitting positive circuit limits with increases of 10%, 10%, 10%, 9.99%, 9.98%, and 9.97% respectively.
Meanwhile, investors in Unique Nepal Laghubitta suffered the highest loss as its share price fell by 6.17%. According to NEPSE, a total of 35,248,397 shares of 333 companies were traded, generating a turnover of more than NPR 15.033 billion.
