Nepal Rastra Bank has fixed the foreign exchange rates for Tuesday. The buying rate for one US dollar is set at NPR 151.44 and the selling rate at NPR 152.04.
Similarly, the buying rate for one Euro is NPR 174.04 and the selling rate NPR 174.73. The UK Pound Sterling stands at NPR 200.52 (buying) and NPR 201.32 (selling), while the Swiss Franc is set at NPR 189.48 (buying) and NPR 190.23 (selling).
The Australian Dollar is valued at NPR 103.87 (buying) and NPR 104.28 (selling), the Canadian Dollar at NPR 108.79 (buying) and NPR 109.22 (selling), and the Singapore Dollar at NPR 117.41 (buying) and NPR 117.88 (selling).
For Asian currencies, the buying rate for 10 Japanese Yen is NPR 9.49 and the selling rate NPR 9.53. The Chinese Yuan is set at NPR 21.91 (buying) and NPR 22.00 (selling). The Saudi Arabian Riyal stands at NPR 40.35 (buying) and NPR 40.51 (selling), while the Qatari Riyal is NPR 41.55 (buying) and NPR 41.71 (selling).
According to the central bank, the Thai Baht is valued at NPR 4.61 (buying) and NPR 4.62 (selling). The UAE Dirham stands at NPR 41.23 (buying) and NPR 41.40 (selling). The Malaysian Ringgit is NPR 37.60 (buying) and NPR 37.75 (selling). The buying rate for 100 South Korean Won is NPR 9.99 and the selling rate NPR 10.03. The Swedish Krona is NPR 15.95 (buying) and NPR 16.02 (selling), while the Danish Krone is NPR 23.29 (buying) and NPR 23.38 (selling).
The Hong Kong Dollar is set at NPR 19.33 (buying) and NPR 19.41 (selling). The Kuwaiti Dinar stands at NPR 493.37 (buying) and NPR 495.32 (selling). The Bahraini Dinar is NPR 401.11 (buying) and NPR 402.70 (selling), and the Omani Riyal is NPR 393.40 (buying) and NPR 394.96 (selling).
For the Indian currency, the buying rate for INR 100 is NPR 160.00 and the selling rate NPR 160.15.
Nepal Rastra Bank has stated that these rates may be revised at any time as necessary. Commercial banks may set slightly different rates, and updated rates are available on the central bank’s official website.
