A match under the PM Cup is taking place today between Koshi Province and Nepal Police Club in Parsa.
In the ongoing PM Cup, Koshi Province sits at the bottom of the table with one point from four matches, having lost three games while one match was washed out by rain. Meanwhile, Nepal Police Club is in fourth place with five points from four matches, recording two wins, one loss, and one abandoned match due to rain.
According to the Nepal Cricket Association (CAN), the match—played in a one-day format—will begin at 9:00 AM.
A total of 10 teams are participating in the tournament, including teams from all seven provinces and three departmental sides: Nepal Police Club, Tribhuvan Army Club, APF Club, Koshi Province, Madhesh Province, Bagmati Province, Gandaki Province, Lumbini Province, Karnali Province, and Sudurpashchim Province.
The tournament follows a single round-robin format, and the top two teams will compete in the final. So far, only departmental teams have won the PM Cup. Nepal Police Club has won the title four times, while Tribhuvan Army Club and APF Club have won it twice each. Nepal Police Club is also the defending champion.
The winner of the one-day PM Cup will receive a cash prize of NPR 1 million, while the runner-up will receive NPR 500,000, according to CAN.
