The Mugling–Malekhu road section will remain closed during nighttime for three days starting Tuesday.
The closure is being enforced to ensure the safe and systematic execution of ongoing rock-cutting work at Ghoptebhir in Ward No. 6 of Ichchhakamana Rural Municipality, along this road stretch.
According to the Mugling–Nagdhunga Road Project (Western Section), the highway will be completely closed to all vehicles from 10:00 PM to 4:00 AM, except for emergency services such as ambulances and fire engines.
During this period, additional equipment will be deployed to accelerate the rock-cutting work, the road project office stated.
