Police have arrested nine individuals from various parts of the country during routine patrol operations, according to the Central Police News Desk of Nepal Police.
One person was arrested from Bhadrapur Municipality–5, Naya Bazar in Jhapa, two from Urlabari Municipality–7, Bargachhi in Morang, and two from Jitpur Simara Sub-Metropolitan City–10, Nitunpur in Bara. They were found in possession of brown heroin and Rs. 6,750 in cash.
Similarly, one person was arrested from Aanbukhaireni Rural Municipality–2, Dhaptar in Tanahun, two from Birgunj Metropolitan City–16, and one from Birendranagar Municipality–8 in Surkhet on Monday.
From their possession, police recovered 1,700 tablets of Tramadol, a controlled medication that can only be purchased with a doctor’s prescription.
