The Secondary Education Examination (SEE) has commenced peacefully across Nepal starting today, being conducted at 1,966 examination centers nationwide.
On the first day, students appeared for the English subject exam. The examinations will continue until April 11. A total of 512,421 students are participating this year.
Additionally, 23 students are taking the exam at a center in Japan. Among the total candidates, 441,566 are regular students, while 70,855 are appearing for grade improvement.
The exams are three hours long, with an additional 1 hour and 30 minutes allocated for students with disabilities who require extra time. Such students are also permitted to have a writing assistant who has studied up to Grade 9.
The government has announced that the SEE results will be published within one month after the completion of the examinations.
