A protest was held at Maitighar Mandala demanding justice for victims of rape followed by murder.
The demonstration was organized by a street struggle committee, calling for justice for victims including Inisha BK, Reshmika Pariyar, Devisara Khatri, and Nirmala Pant.
Protesters carried placards with slogans demanding strict punishment for perpetrators, protection of women’s rights, and safer society for girls. Messages included calls for the harshest penalties, warnings against silence, and appeals for greater awareness.
Participants also displayed photos of the victims and symbolically used scales to represent justice, highlighting their demand for accountability.
