Chair of the Rastriya Swatantra Party, Rabi Lamichhane, has urged officials appointed by the previous government to step down.
Addressing the first meeting of the House of Representatives on Thursday, Lamichhane called on office-bearers of public service bodies and institutions to voluntarily make way for new appointments.
“I request the officials of public service bodies and institutions to voluntarily pave the way,” he said during his address.
