Seven Nepali nationals were injured after debris from an intercepted missile fell in Abu Dhabi, the capital of the United Arab Emirates, on Friday.
According to information shared by the Abu Dhabi Media Office on social media, six of the injured sustained minor to moderate injuries, while one Nepali is reported to be in serious condition. The names of the injured have not been released.
The incident occurred in the Ajban area of Abu Dhabi after the air defense system intercepted the missile and fragments fell to the ground.
News agency Press Trust of India also reported that five Indian nationals were injured in the same incident.
