Shram Sanskrti Party Stakes Claim for Deputy Speaker Post
The Shram Sanskrti Party has claimed the post of Deputy Speaker in the House of Representatives. Party Chair Harka Sampang announced that the party will field a female candidate for the position.
In a social media post, Sampang wrote, “We have already congratulated the Speaker on being elected unopposed. Now, the election for Deputy Speaker is approaching. We are fielding a female candidate.”
He also expressed confidence that the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP), often described as a new political force, would support his party’s candidate.
Sampang added, “Let’s see whether the new party votes for the new or the same old ones! Will we get 7 votes or 189?”
