A protest was staged on Saturday at Maitighar Mandala against the recent hike in petroleum prices.
The demonstration was jointly organized by the Rastriya Gen Z Nagarik Abhiyan and the Mahabhiyan Against Misgovernance, citing that continuous price increases have made daily life difficult for ordinary citizens.
Participants in the protest urged the government to immediately adjust prices, provide relief to the public, and take effective measures to control inflation.
