The government has decided to begin the new academic session from Baisakh 15.
Government spokesperson and Minister for Education, Sasmita Pokharel, said that the Cabinet meeting held on Sunday made the decision to start the new academic session from that date.
Previously, the academic session would usually begin in the first week of Baisakh. However, this time, new admissions and classes will start a few days later than usual.
