Gold prices in Nepal fell by Rs 2,600 per tola on Monday, according to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association.
The federation has set the price of gold at Rs 291,400 per tola for the day, down from Rs 294,000 on the previous trading day.
Despite the daily drop, gold prices have increased overall by Rs 7,900 over the past week. Last Monday, gold was traded at Rs 283,500 per tola.
Silver prices also declined on Monday. The price dropped by Rs 50 per tola compared to the previous day. Silver, which was traded at Rs 4,830 per tola yesterday, has fallen to Rs 4,780 today.
A week ago, silver was priced at Rs 4,700 per tola.
