The training is part of preparations for the census, which aims to identify the real status, nature, and structure of economic activities and update national economic statistics.
Speaking at a program organized in Kathmandu on Wednesday in coordination with the Federation of Nepali Journalists, Deputy Chief Statistician and spokesperson Dhundiraj Lamichhane informed that the training is being conducted simultaneously from 84 offices across the country.
According to him, the selection process for the required enumerators has been completed and necessary coordination has already been made with the respective local levels. The training will run for five days, after which enumerators will be deployed across the country as per their assignments.
Lamichhane stated, “The five-day training will begin from Thursday through 84 offices nationwide, and after completion of the training, enumerators will be mobilized for the economic census from Baisakh 2, 2083.”
