The Weather Forecasting Division has reported that Nepal is currently under the influence of a western low-pressure system along with local winds.
According to the Division, this afternoon the mountainous regions of Koshi, Bagmati, and Gandaki Provinces will generally remain cloudy. The hilly and Terai regions of Koshi Province, along with the remaining hilly and mountainous areas of the country, will experience partly cloudy conditions, while the rest of the Terai region will mostly have clear weather.
There is a possibility of light rainfall or snowfall at one or two places in the hilly and mountainous regions of Koshi Province, as well as in the mountainous areas of Bagmati and Gandaki Provinces. A few places in the Terai regions of Lumbini and Sudurpashchim Provinces may also experience gusty winds.
Tonight, the mountainous regions across the country, including Koshi Province, will generally remain cloudy. The remaining hilly areas will be partly cloudy, and the Terai region will mostly have clear weather. There is a chance of light rain or snowfall with thunder and lightning at a few places in the hilly and mountainous regions of Koshi and Gandaki Provinces, and at one or two places in the other mountainous regions.
