Gauri Kumari Yadav has been appointed as Minister for Industry, Commerce and Supplies, while Ramji Yadav has been appointed as Minister for Labour, Employment and Social Security. Both newly appointed ministers are lawmakers from the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP).
They are scheduled to take the oath of office and secrecy before Ramchandra Paudel at a ceremony to be held today at the President’s Office.
Prime Minister Shah had dismissed former Labour Minister Deepak Kumar Sah yesterday, accusing him of misusing official authority.
Since the formation of the government, the Prime Minister had been overseeing the Ministry of Industry personally. In addition, he continues to hold the portfolio of the Ministry of Defence.
