Home Minister Sudhan Gurung has stated that the government will leave no stone unturned to establish the Armed Police Force Nepal as a more capable, reliable, and outstanding security institution.
Addressing the graduation ceremony of the 30th batch of Armed Police Inspector Basic Training held at the National Armed Police Force Nepal Training Academy in Matatirtha, Minister Gurung expressed confidence that the APF’s adopted concepts of border security, internal security, revenue support, and disaster management have significantly contributed to national security.
He reaffirmed the Home Ministry’s continuous commitment to upgrading training institutions and improving their quality. Congratulating the newly graduated Armed Police Inspectors, he urged them to make courage, discipline, and honesty the guiding principles of their lives.
Highlighting that the APF has a presence in all 77 districts, the minister said the organization plays a vital role in maintaining peace and security across the country.
He stated, “The ministry is committed at both policy and implementation levels to support the organization with necessary manpower, physical infrastructure, security equipment, and logistics management. It is essential to uphold democratic values and the rule of law while serving the nation and its people with integrity.”
Minister Gurung also extended his best wishes for peace, happiness, and prosperity to all Nepalis on the occasion of the New Year 2083.
