The NEPSE index declined by 21.48 points on the first trading day of the week, closing at 2,609.69.
Throughout the day, 325 companies traded a total of 10,718,615 shares, amounting to a transaction value of Rs. 5.33 billion. Share prices of 46 companies increased, 204 companies saw a decline, and 8 companies remained unchanged.
Sagarmatha Distillery recorded the highest turnover of the day with Rs. 436.9 million in transactions. Ngadi Group Power ranked second with Rs. 325.2 million, followed by Bandipur Cable Car Limited with Rs. 154.8 million in turnover.
Two companies delivered the highest investor gains today. Investors of Swastik Laghubitta and Srinagar Agritech earned 10%, while Jhapa Energy investors gained 9.99%.
On the losing side, Bungad Hydropower investors suffered the most, with shares falling by 8.51%.
