Traffic police have fined the vehicle of Speaker D P Aryal for violating traffic rules.
According to traffic police sources, the Speaker’s vehicle was penalized at Thapathali for breaching lane discipline.
The source said that after failing to follow road regulations, not only the Speaker’s vehicle but also the escort vehicles traveling ahead and behind were subjected to action.
As it was a VVIP vehicle, the fine could not be issued on the road. The action was later processed after reaching Singha Durbar.
