Drona Kumar Kunwar, a member of the Gandaki Province Assembly, has resigned from his post. Kunwar was directly elected from Baglung Constituency No. 2 (2) representing the Nepali Congress.
He tendered his resignation this morning, expressing dissatisfaction with the recent cabinet reshuffle carried out by Chief Minister Surendra Raj Pandey. Kunwar, who was considered a ministerial aspirant, stepped down in protest.
Speaker Krishna Prasad Dhital confirmed receiving Kunwar’s resignation. In his resignation letter, Kunwar thanked the voters and supporters who trusted him and helped him get elected.
