Nepal Rastra Bank has fixed the foreign exchange rates for today (Sunday), with a rise in the value of the US dollar.
The buying rate of one US dollar has been set at NPR 148.39 and the selling rate at NPR 148.99.
Similarly, the buying and selling rates for other major currencies are as follows: one Euro at NPR 175.06 (buying) and NPR 175.76 (selling); one UK Pound Sterling at NPR 200.75 (buying) and NPR 201.56 (selling); one Swiss Franc at NPR 189.65 (buying) and NPR 190.41 (selling); one Australian Dollar at NPR 106.40 (buying) and NPR 106.83 (selling); one Canadian Dollar at NPR 108.49 (buying) and NPR 108.93 (selling); and one Singapore Dollar at NPR 116.62 (buying) and NPR 117.09 (selling).
Likewise, the buying rate of 10 Japanese Yen has been fixed at NPR 9.32 and the selling rate at NPR 9.36. The Chinese Yuan is valued at NPR 21.75 (buying) and NPR 21.84 (selling). The Saudi Arabian Riyal stands at NPR 39.56 (buying) and NPR 39.72 (selling), the Qatari Riyal at NPR 40.70 (buying) and NPR 40.86 (selling), the Thai Baht at NPR 4.63 (buying) and NPR 4.65 (selling), the UAE Dirham at NPR 40.40 (buying) and NPR 40.56 (selling), and the Malaysian Ringgit at NPR 37.54 (buying) and NPR 37.70 (selling).
In addition, the buying rate of 100 South Korean Won has been set at NPR 10.03 and the selling rate at NPR 10.07. The Swedish Krona is priced at NPR 16.18 (buying) and NPR 16.25 (selling), while the Danish Kroner stands at NPR 23.42 (buying) and NPR 23.52 (selling).
The central bank has also set the buying and selling rates of the Hong Kong Dollar at NPR 18.95 and NPR 19.03 respectively. The Kuwaiti Dinar is valued at NPR 484.62 (buying) and NPR 486.58 (selling), the Bahraini Dinar at NPR 393.53 (buying) and NPR 395.12 (selling), and the Omani Riyal at NPR 385.42 (buying) and NPR 386.98 (selling). The exchange rate for 100 Indian Rupees has been fixed at NPR 160.00 (buying) and NPR 160.15 (selling).
