Road expansion work along the Tribhuvan Highway has been intensified in Birgunj since Sunday morning.
Under the coordination of the Road Division Office Hetauda, bulldozers have been deployed to remove houses and sheds encroaching on the road area.
A total of nine pieces of heavy equipment, including bulldozers, JCBs, and excavators, are being used for the road widening work. The Birgunj Metropolitan City has also mobilized an additional four bulldozers to support the operation.
