CPN-UML Chairperson KP Sharma Oli has arrived at Bhrikutimandap, the venue of the party’s general convention closed session. With his arrival, the Central Committee meeting is set to begin.
Oli had convened the Central Committee meeting after rescheduling the closed session for 12:30 pm. The meeting was delayed as the party chair was engaged in meetings with aspirants for various leadership positions.
During the meeting, Oli is preparing to present a proposal to amend the party statute. He is expected to propose increasing the number of office bearers to 19 and expanding the Central Committee to 301 members.
