The CPN-UML has once again extended the deadline for filing nominations.
Earlier, the deadline to submit nomination forms was set until 3:30 pm on Monday. The time has now been extended to 5:00 pm.
According to the revised schedule, the preliminary list of candidates will be published at 6:00 pm, while the final list of candidates will be released at 8:30 pm.
Central Election Commission Secretary Kunsang Lama said the election schedule has also been amended, with voting scheduled from 12 noon to 6:00 pm on Tuesday.
